and this year i decided to give it a good twist ~ fruit cake is so sweet, dense, and way too rich for the family. I’m using the Nigella Lawson’s chocolate fruit cake recipe for Chistmas this year ~ reduced the dried fruits to only 500g (instead of 750g) and used Kahlua, coconut sugar in place of brown sugar, and baked them into mini cupcakes so that i can decorate every piece differently…

i love this one.. my very first go at lining cakes… have to admit i was too lazy to make the royal icing, so the snowman is a little “pimply” on the surface.. wakakaka
