easter chick sugar cookieI always admire people who can, or maybe i should say have the patience to ice cookies. Bloggers like Diamond for Dessert… respect… they do lots of sugar cookies and make fantastic icing patterns.

I followed her instructions to the T… i have to say, it took me like 2? 3? hours to ice 30 something cookies… she said to spoon the icing onto the cookie and spread to the border. Mine was a complete mess. In the end, i had to guide myself using a smaller cookie cutter, pour the icing in, wait for it to harden a bit, then remove the cutter.

It’s a good experience though… and next? nah… not in the near future.
