Ingredients (makes 18 biscuits)

100g wholegrain flour
100g oats
1tsp baking powder
50g brown sugar
100g salted butter, softened
2 tbsp milk

全麦面粉 100克
燕麦片 100克
泡打粉 1小匙
黄糖 50克
有盐黄油 100克,软化
牛奶 2大匙
Directions/做法

– Preheat oven to 180C
烤箱预热至 180摄氏度
– Place oats in a mixer and grind until powdery texture is obtained
燕麦片放入搅拌器,搅拌至粉状

– Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl. Then add the butter and mix until crumbly
将所有干食材摆入容器中,混合均匀。加入黄油,搅拌至小颗粒

– Add the milk and mix dough so it is no longer crumbly but a bit more firm
加入牛奶、和面至无颗粒并有些扎实

– Form a ball and place in fridge for 15 minutes. Then take out dough, spread out to 3mm thickness and cut out 6cm diameter circles
搓揉成团,冷藏 15分钟。取出面团,擀成 3毫米(mm) 面皮,并用 6厘米 (cm) 圆形饼干模裁切出圆形面皮

– Bake for 15 minutes, take out and let cool
送入烤箱烤 15分钟,取出、待凉

Personal notes/温馨小贴士:
– i found the taste “just nice” for the family (may consider cutting the sugar down to 35g next time in fact)
甜度刚好。下次会考虑将糖份减至 35克
– i did not have salted butter and used unsalted butter with 1/8 tsp of fleur de sel instead. I used Bob Red Mill’s Stone Ground Whole Wheat flour and grounded 100g of spelt oats
家里木有有盐黄油。用了无盐黄油,另加 1/8小匙海盐。我用了 Bob Red Mill’s 牌子的斯佩尔特小麦面粉,并磨碎了 100克斯佩尔特燕麦- after grinding the spelt oats, i dumped all the dry ingredients into the food processor and grind everything together again
磨碎了斯佩尔特燕麦,我将所有干食材放入食物搅拌器搅拌均匀- we love thick cookies, so my cookies are 0.6cm thick and 5.6cm in diameter. I made 17 cookies in total

 The portion is not big, so it won’t take too long to finish  (^~^)… but i’m not too worried about this because i can use it as cheesecake base if no one eats them anyway… woot (-^〇^-)
