Recipe adapted and translated from I love Cookies by 安星美

Ingredients

condense milk cookies170g cake flour
100g condense milk
1g salt
60g unsalted butter (softened)
3g vanilla extract
3-4g cocoa powder

Directions

condense milk cookies– cream butter slightly, then add condense milk and salt. mix well
– add in vanilla extract, and incorporate well
– add in sifted flour and mix well to form a dough using rubber spatula
– remove 50g of dough and knead in cocoa powder
– roll original dough into a thick flat disc. pinch and place small bits of cocoa dough onto original dough
– roll entire dough out to a thickness of 0.4cm
– cut cookies out and bake in preheated oven of 165-170 degrees C for 10-12mins

Personal notes:

condense milk cookies– i rolled the original dough into a thickness of c. 0.8cm before placing cocoa dough onto it
– i used slightly less than 3g of dark cocoa powder
– my cookies were baked for 13 mins in preheated oven of 165 degrees…. i actually overlooked the time… so do watch your cookies closely as they “brown” suddenly ≫(‘♀’)≪
