Ingredients (makes a 4 x 8 inch loaf)

140g (5oz) Dark Chocolate (broken into pieces)
50g (¼ cup) Butter
50g (¼ cup) Brown sugar
1 Egg
35g (¼ cup) All purpose flour

Butter cake
120g (½ cup) Butter
100g (½ cup) Sugar * i used 90g
2 Eggs
120g (1 cup) All purpose flour
2g (¼ tsp) Baking powder
50ml (3 ½ Tbsp) Fresh milk

食材 (可做一个4 x 8寸长形蛋糕)

黑巧克力 140克 (5盎司)
黄油 50克 (1/4 杯)
黄糖 50克 (1/4 杯)
面粉 35克 (1/4 杯)

黄油 120克 (1/2 杯)
糖 100克 (1/2 杯)*我用了 90 克
鸡蛋 2 颗
面粉 120克 (1 杯)
泡打粉 2克 (1/4 小匙)
鲜奶 50毫升 (3 1/2 大匙)


IMG_7144– Grease and line a 10cm x 20cm (4×8-in) loaf pan with aluminium foil
10 x 20 厘米 (4 x 8 寸)烤盘抹油,铺上锡纸

– Preheat oven to 180C/350F

– To make brownie, melt chocolate and butter over low heat. Remove and leave to cool slightly. Stir in brown sugar until blended
先做布朗尼 ~ 黄油和巧克力放锅里以小火融化后,稍微冷却在拌入黄糖

– Add in egg, mix well. Fold in flour, mix until well combined. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes. Remove

– To make butter cake, beat butter with sugar until creamy. Add in eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition
制作黄油蛋糕 ~ 黄油和糖打发至鬅松。加入鸡蛋 ~ 先加入一颗鸡蛋,拌匀后,再加入另一颗。拌匀

– Fold in sifted flour and baking powder, alternately add in fresh milk, mix to form batter

– Spread the butter cake batter over brownie, bake in oven at 160C/320F for 25-30 minutes or until cooked
将面糊倒在之前烤好的布朗尼上,刮平,然后送入160 摄氏度/320华氏度的烤箱烤25-30分钟至到蛋糕熟透为止

Personal notes/温馨小贴士:

IMG_7143– i put my butter batter into a piping bag and piped it on top of the brownie

– my butter cake was baked for 55 mins in 160 degrees C oven
