wee wee…. yes, the world famous havanna dulce de leche….
and since i last made the condense milk moo-moo cookies, my moo moo mould seem to have bite the dust…
so i decided to put it to use again…
i cut the moo moo-s out of a chocolate pound cake i baked and placed it inside my loaf pan… well.. it didn’t work very well… the moo-moos didn’t contrast nicely…plus, not all the DDL cake batter got to the bottom of the moo-moos
so if you decide to do a patterned pound cake, do remember your cut out should avoid not have a “spaced” bottom
the upside is, this cake is darn good…
最近跟随着那群疯子追寻傻子时,其中一位疯子给我带了两瓶(除梅西球衣外)世界上最驰名的havanna牛奶焦糖。。
正是时候。。。
自之前做了炼乳花牛曲奇后,花牛模子也陷入了“休克”状态。。所以这次打算让它重出江湖
我用了模子在巧克力酪乳磅蛋糕上裁出了花牛模型。。人算不如天算,效果不佳。。
因为牛奶焦糖的面糊无法散至花牛腹部下,所以好多片都有空隙。。
所以哈。。。千记万记 ~ 模子底部最好不要有空隙哈
还好。。这蛋糕没让疯子失望

Recipe adapted & translated from Bakericious

Ingredients (bakes in a 7 inch cake pan)

180g butter
40g sugar *i used 20g
1/4 tsp salt
1.5 tsp vanilla essence
3/4 cup dulce de leche *based on Jess’ verdict that she will increase the DDL in the future to improve the aroma, i decided to used 1 cup of DDL and cut the amount of sugar

180g flour
1.5 tsp baking powder
*Sift together

3 eggs

黄油 180克
糖 40克 *我用了20克
盐 1/4小匙
香草精 1.5 小匙
牛奶焦糖 3/4杯 *Jess 在总结时说她要再次烤这款蛋糕,会曾加牛奶焦糖的份量,以让蛋糕更具有香味儿。因此,我用了1杯牛奶焦糖,便将糖的份量减少

面粉 180克
泡打粉 1.5小匙
*过筛

鸡蛋 3颗

Directions/做法

IMG_7386– Grease the cake pan and preheat oven to 170 deg.C
蛋糕烤盘抹上黄油并预热烤箱至170摄氏度

– In a bowl, using an electric whisk, cream butter and sugar till light and fluffy. Add in salt, vanilla essence and dulce de leche, whisk till incorporated
容器中将黄油和糖打至鬅松状态。加入盐、香草精和牛奶焦糖。拌匀

– Stop to add flour. whisk using low speed. Scrap down the sides and whisk till the batter is smooth and not lumpy
加入过筛的面粉和泡打粉,以低速搅拌、不时将容器边上的面糊刮下,搅拌至无颗粒为止

– Add in the eggs, 1 at a time, whisk well
鸡蛋一颗一颗加入

– Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and bake at 170 deg.C for 1 hour
面糊倒入烤盘中,送入烤箱烤1小时

Personal notes/温馨小贴士:

– i used a 9 x 4 inch loaf pan to bake this
我用了 9 x 4寸烤盘

– i placed my cut out moo moo chocolate pound cake into the loaf pan and chilled it overnight before baking the DDL cake
我将裁出后的花牛巧克力酪乳蛋糕事先摆如烤盘,冷藏一夜

– i poured my cake batter into a piping bag, piped the batter into the pan and slit the top of the batter with a wet knife before baking the cake
我将面糊放入裱花袋,将面糊裱入烤盘后,以湿刀在面糊上划上一刀再送入烤箱

– my cake was baked for 68 mins
蛋糕烤了68分钟
