always wanted to make these cookie monsters cupcake but had been wondering how to achieve the big round head. was so tempted to just buy one of the super big headed muffins from Starbucks and just practice my frosting skills on it… sigh…. of course, i hv to constantly remind myself that there should never be shortcut to baking
woke up, baked chocolate chip cupcakes using the vanilla cupcake base from Magnolia Bakery recipe… and yes, it turned out the height of cupcake… disappointment.. then baked a marble bread… and decided to “just do it”… chocolate cookies & “no cream” cupcake base with buttercream frosting…
Anyway, these Cookie Monster cupcakes are very easy to create…. Just use your favourite cupcake recipe, and then all you need is some FA chocolate chip cookies, white candy or chocolate melts, chocolate chip and blue buttercream frosting.
