Ingredients (makes 20 cookies)

3/4 pound unsalted butter, at room temperature
1 cup sugar, plus extra for sprinkling
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
6 to 7 ounces very good semisweet chocolate, finely chopped

IMG_7246– Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F

  • Beat together the butter and 1 cup of sugar until they are just combined. Add the vanilla. In a medium bowl, sift together the flour and salt, then add them to the butter-and-sugar mixture. Mix on low speed until the dough starts to come together. Dump onto a surface dusted with flour and shape into a flat disk. Wrap in plastic and chill for 30 minutes

– Roll the dough 1/2-inch thick and cut with a 3 by 1-inch finger-shaped cutter. Place the cookies on an ungreased baking sheet and sprinkle with sugar. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until the edges begin to brown. Allow to cool to room temperature
面团擀成1/2寸的厚度,用 3 x 1 寸手指形饼干膜切出曲奇。将曲奇摆放在烤盘上(不许抹油),撒上糖。送入烤箱烤20-25分钟或至曲奇边上变褐色。取出进行冷却

  • Melt chocolate and dip 1/2 of each cookie (cooled) with just enough chocolate to coat it
    冷却后的曲奇粘上融化的巧克力。只需粘半根曲奇即可

  • as i was trying to make use of my chocolate mould, i shaped my cookies differently
    因为想用上巧克力模的缘故,我将曲奇形状切成长方形

面团擀成1/2寸厚的面皮

IMG_7223i manually measured and cut my cookies into a 5.7 x 4.6cm shaped rectangle, and pricked cookies with toothpick
我手工将面团切出一个个都是 5.7 x 4.6厘米的长方形, 然后用牙签在曲奇上扎孔

烘焙曲奇当儿,将巧克力融化

IMG_7230as the mould is shallow, i chose to pipe chocolate on it so it’s less messy
因模子较浅,我是将巧克力用裱花袋填上模子滴

IMG_7231after filling the cavities, drop the mould onto the table a few times to remove bubbles. chill for at least an hour
填上巧克力后,将模子从高处往桌上掉几次以便取出气泡。 冷藏自少一小时

pipe some melted chocolate on your cookie and carefully place a piece of chocolate on top and allow to set
将巧克力从模子取出
冷却后的曲奇挤上少许融化巧克力,然后将一片巧克力粘到曲奇上。定形后即可想用
