玫瑰玫瑰,我爱你

Recipe adapted from XuanHom’s Mom Kitchen Diary
Ingredients (makes 8 buns)
100g mashed pumpkin
200g pau flour
40g granulated sugar * i used 20g trehalose
10g shortening
3g yeast
30-40g water * i used 40g milk
filling
curry potato * recipe adapted from here
南瓜泥 100克
包粉 200克
细砂糖 40克*我用了 20克海藻糖
白油 10克
干酵母 3克
水 30 – 40 克 * 我用了40克牛奶
内陷
土豆咖喱 *食谱可参考此链接
Directions/做法
– mix flour, yeast and sugar together and add in mashed pumpkin. knead well
将包粉、酵母粉和细砂糖混合拌在一起,加入南瓜泥混均匀
– rub shortening into dough and add in water slowly. knead till you get shiny and elastic dough. rise dough for 60 mins
再用手指把白油慢慢搓入面粉,徐徐加入清水,揉成光滑有弹性的面团。盖着休面60分钟
– punch dough down and give it a few gentle knead
把发酵好的面团取出,再搓揉几下
– divide dough into portions of 50g and shape into a ball. rest dough for 10 mins
把面团分割每粒50克,滚圆,休面10分钟
take a portion of dough and roll it flat, ensure that the sides are thinner than the centre
把面团擀成外薄内厚,把面团陆续擀平再包馅
slit the dough as above
在面皮四处分割如上
place a portion of filling in the centre of the dough
面皮中间勺入一分馅料
pull a flap and wrap over the filling
将一边的面皮拉起、裹上馅料
repeat the same for the opposite side
以反方向重复上述程序
pull the third flap and wrap over
拉起另一片面皮再裹起
this is how the wrapping should look like
包裹的效果应该是这样滴
the finished bun should look like this
完成整形后的包子
use your fingers to pry open the petals gently
轻轻地用手指将花瓣掰开
– place shaped buns onto a piece of baking paper and allow it to rise in the steamer for 15 mins
把包好馅的包子放在纸上再放入蒸笼,加盖发酵15分钟
– bring a pot of water to boil and steam rose buns for 7 mins over medium heat. turn heat off but do not remove cover. allow buns to continue sitting in steamer before removing lid
水滚后,以中火将玫瑰包子蒸 7分钟。熄火后,不可立刻打开盖子 ~ 待5分钟后在开盖哈

I have made rose buns before but with no fillings and yours looking absolutely gorgeous and I love the the buns with fillings!! Will try out.
