Ingredients (makes about 60 cookies)

125g unsalted butter, softened
125g potato starch
60g cake flour * i kept the same amount of cake flour as i wanted to roll and cut out cookies
50g milo powder * i increased the milo powder per Shar’s suggestion for stronger milo taste
24g icing sugar

蛋糕粉 60克 *蛋糕粉随着美禄的增加也没调整因为我想用曲奇模子裁切面团
美禄 50克*为了添加美禄香味儿,依照 Shar 的建议,将美禄份量增加了
糖霜 24克

Directions/做法

IMG_8450– cream butter for a minute then add in sifted icing sugar and milo powder. cream till light and fluffy
黄油打发一分钟后加入过筛的糖霜和美禄。继续打发至蓬松状态

– add in sifted flour and potato starch and stir in on low speed. chill dough to make it more pliable if needed
以低速拌入过筛面粉和土豆淀粉直到成团。如面团沾手,可先裹上保鲜膜冷藏

– shape dough into 2-3cm balls or roll flat and cut out using desired cookie cutter
面团分割成 2-3厘米小圆球或擀平,用心意曲奇模裁切出曲奇

– place on baking tray, leaving an one inch space in between
将曲奇摆放在烤盘上,曲奇间留一寸空隙

– bake in preheated oven of 170 degrees for 10-15 mins (depending on size and thickness of your cookie)
送入预热至 170摄氏度烤箱烤 10-15分钟即可(烘焙时间以你曲奇的大小及厚度而定哈)

– i bought my cookie mould from here

– i brushed dark cocoa powder onto deer’s body and placed black nonpareils as eyes (on deer) before baking
送入烤箱前,我在小鹿身体刷上黑可可粉做斑点、并用黑色蛋糕装饰糖珠饰伪眼睛

    As far as I remember I think Ive never used milo to make any cakes or anything other than my usual milo hot drink. This sound wonderful and as usual you shaping it out looking very cute.

      Hi, i would say cornstarch or tapioca starch (i will use the former).

    Hi! May I know how long did u chill the cookie dough? Mine is too soft to cut with the cutter.

      Hi, I could have chilled for around 20-30 mins. You need to check on consistency of dough before removing to slice. This cookie spreads a bit so ideal that it goes into the oven well shaped up and not room temp
