My husband is a sucker for the HCP sold at the Parkway Parade foodcourt but unfortunately, they were closed for renovation during my July trip back home.  realising how disappointed he was, i told myself i must make this for him when we get back to Beijing.

I’d always proscrastinated making these because fried food had never made it big in my house (yes, even donuts are baked), and I have to say, you should have seen Markus face when he saw me deep frying. he had this 杀父之仇不共戴天 look (shivers…) ..

Fantastic recipe nevertheless… and yes, i will definitely make these again when Markus is not in town and private label these again.. (小臭美)… wakakaka..

      Hello Catharine, sincere apologies but i actually made that so long ago ~ at that time, i haven\’t started putting up recipes and i have now totally forgotten whose recipe that is. apologies again to disappoint but rest assured moving on, if i\’m to make HCP again, i will post recipes in dual languages
