it started off as a kek lapis….

 if anything at all, this is an absolute healthier version of the layer cake… lesser butter, lesser yolks.. and indeed it wasn’t that greasy. and because it wasn’t that greasy, the hubby said it is dry. i reckon it was the top layer and bottom… so i started trimming and trimming and for some reasons (yes, just remembered about the Sarawak Layer cakes book i have), started trimming them to triangles.

Patched them up with nutella, and clinged wrap them really tight… cute little ketupat lapis cake.. oh well, i guess this is the last bake before the CNY and i’m off for the long trip.. i wonder about March..
