IMG_6709haven’t had waffles for a while since my last belgium waffles… i was pretty excited with this new waffles book i bought in hong kong (⑅ ॣ•͈ᴗ•͈ ॣ)∟ᵒᵛᵉ૫૦∪

Ingredients(makes 3 thick square waffles)

IMG_67162 tbsp chopped salted peanuts

1 egg
40g caster sugar

(2)
20g unsalted butter, melted
40cc milk
10cc rum

(3)
75g cake flour
20g cocoa powder
1/2 tsp baking powder

食材(可做3片正方形厚片华夫饼)

2大匙咸味花生粒

(1)
蛋1个
细糖40克

(2)
无盐奶油20克 (隔水融化)
牛奶 40升
兰姆酒 10升

(3)
蛋糕面粉 75克
可可粉 20克
泡打粉 1/2 小匙

Directions/做法

IMG_6714– place (1) into mixing bowl, and beat with egg beater till fluffy or pale in colour
材料(1)放入搅拌盆,用网壮搅拌器用力搅拌,直到材料颜色变淡,体积膨胀

– add in (2) into the above slowly, followed by all of sifted (3). add in chopped salted peanut butter and mix well
慢慢加入材料(2)拌匀,材料(3)过筛后加入搅匀,最后加入咸味花生粒拌匀既成面糊

– cover batter with cling wrap and allow to rest for 30 mins
面糊盖上保鲜膜,静置松弛30分钟

– preheat waffle maker and grease lightly with unsalted butter when maker is ready
松饼机预热,预热完成后,用毛刷沾少许无盐奶油涂抹在烤盘内

– pour in batter and flatten. cover waffle maker and allow to cook
倒入面糊铺平,盖上机器上盖进行加热

– removed cooked waffle with heat-proof gloves. sprinkle more salted peanuts on waffle and serve hot
加热完毕后带上隔热手套,打开松饼机取出完成的松饼,表面可多撒一些份量外的咸味花生粒,即可趁热食用

Personal notes/温馨小贴士:

IMG_6713– i used organic coconut flower sugar instead of caster sugar
我用了有机椰子花糖替代绵白糖

– my waffles were cooked in 4 mins
各华夫饼用了4分钟就烤熟了
